Flex Interface Vector Elements

08.15.07
by sean tagged as design, vector, and production aids

Ok, so recently I’ve been designing some interfaces for FLEX applications and I’ve been using Illustrator to comp.  I usually design web interfaces in Photoshop, but since bitmaps aren’t efficient in Flash I made the switch.

I created some reusable elements to help in the design production.  These are the basic component skins and can be customized to suit your needs.  The file is saved as an editable PDF, just open it in Illustrator.  Hopefully you’ll find it helpful!

Sean, thanks for sharing these assets. I think someone could use your PDF in the Photoshop too as soon as we have good support of the importing layers and vector shapes to Flash CS3 from Photoshop CS3.

Thanks Rostislav, it will be an interesting day when vector shapes are fully supported in Photoshop. It would be fantastic for Illustrator, Flash and Photoshop to work seamlessly.
